Cars that have transmission oil cooling as standard have a very expensive water oil cooler installed.Our THE- transmission oil line is a cost effective replacement to remove the original transmission oil cooling system.With the help of our line, a water cooler can be installed without an additional transmission oil cooler.
Advantages:
low cost compared to replacement of original lineslow costs when replacing water cooler (because a cooler can be used without transmission oil cooler)our line is made of stainless steel, so rusting/corrosion is not possibleDisadvantages: The omission of transmission oil cooling may result in higher transmission oil temperatures.
Additional information:
The elbow fittings are self-cutting, which means that no additional sealing rings are required.We recommend a tightening torque as specified by VAG, which is 30Nm.If the line is installed and the original water cooler with transmission oil cooling is alright, we offer a plug set with which the oil cooler can be closed to avoid contamination.
