Product information:
The THE intake hose is specially designed for use in the RS4/S4 B5. The inner diameter is 102mm and can be mounted directly on our large MAF housing. To prevent the hose from contracting, two additional steel rings were used. The other side is made that our 102mm intake Y can be mounted (see picture/red Y). With the help of the adapters, which can be ordered separately, it is possible to install the OEM RS4 MAF and/or the OEM RS4 Intake-Y. If both adapters are installed, this hose can also be used as a replacement for the OEM RS4 intake hose.
This hose will also be used in the future in various other projects from us, such as RS3/TTRS. The THE intake hose can also be universally installed in other engines.
Advantages over the OEM / silicone hose:
More throughput due to larger diameter
More flexible than a silicone hose
The corrugation can compensate for a slight angular misalignment
Two additional steel rings have been inserted to prevent contraction
With the help of our adapters, a wide variety of expansion stages can be realized with it
