034Motorsport Density Line Engine Mount

We are VERY excited to be announcing the release of our 034Motorsport Street Density motor mounts for the B6/B7 Audi S4/RS4 and C5 Audi A6/S6/RS6 and Allroad!We've been testing these mounts for some time to ensure they are reliable and meet the criterion for the intended use - results so far are very exciting!WHAT THEY ARE: A new line of rubber motor mounts made FOR us by OE suppliers to OUR specifications.STREETDENSITY Mounts are solid rubber mounts with a 50 durometer about 10% stiffer than stock, this means they still ride smooth and quiet but provide a marked improvement in drivetrain dampening over stock mounts. Livable street performance with serious sport intentions. Note, since there are no voids or air pockets in these mounts, even though the rubber is only 10% stiffer, the resulting reduction in drivetrain movement is actually 25% stiffer.

THIS IS NOT AN OE MOUNT, OR AN RS4 MOUNT, AND THESE ARE NOT AVAILABLE FROM ANY OTHER SOURCE - These are built by an OE supplier to 034Motorsport specifications for performance applications.

Combine with Density transmission mount and 034Motorsport snub mount and cage for the ultimate in performance drivetrain mounting.

Please Note: Our Active Motor Mount Resistor Bypasses are sold separately, and are designed keep the check engine light off on vehicles equipped with Active Engine Mounts from the factory. Simply plug these in to the factory harness and go!

Please Note: The nuts for these mounts should be torqued to the factory specification of 25 Nm (approximately 18.5 ft. lbs.). Overtightening these nuts can cause damage to the mount!

 

034Motorsport Bypass Resistor

These plug-in resistor bypasses can be used to remove the CEL caused by replacing the failure-prone factory "active" mounts with 034Motorsport Density Line & Motorsport Spec Engine Mounts.

One required per mount.

034Motorsport Density Line Gearbox Mount

We are VERY excited to be announcing the release of our 034Motorsport Street Density and Track Density transmission mounts for the 6-MT and CVT B6/B7 Audi A4/S4/RS4!We've been testing these mounts for some time to ensure they are reliable and meet the criterion for the intended use - results so far are very exciting!WHAT THEY ARE: A new line of rubber motor mounts made FOR us by OE suppliers to OUR specifications.STREETDENSITY Mounts are solid rubber mounts with a 50 durometer about 10% stiffer than stock, this means they still ride smooth and quiet but provide a marked improvement in drivetrain dampening over stock mounts. Livable street performance with serious sport intentions. Note, since there are no voids or air pockets in these mounts, even though the rubber is only 10% stiffer, the resulting reduction in drivetrain movement is actually 25% stiffer.TRACKDENSITY Mounts are also solid rubber mounts, but with an 80 durometer approx 90% stiffer than stock, these are solid for all practical purposes and result in ZERO drivetrain movement. Vibrations from the engine are noticeably increased but not horrible. Definitely not smooth and quiet like stock mounts, but in return you get a completely locked down drivetrain with NO slop or deflection. These are perfect for the street/track enthusiast who doesn't mind a marked increase in vibration from the drivetrain.

Mounts will fit all 6-speed manual transmission and CVT B6/B7 chassis 1.8T, 2.0T, 3.0L, 3.2L, and 4.2L  cars and includes all hardware needed to install.

034Motorsport Density Line Snub (Torque) Mount

We're proud to announce the availability of Street Density Snub (Torque) Mounts for the B7 Audi RS4 & C5 Audi RS6! The factory torque mounts in these applications are known to fail when the soft rubber separates, making the mount ineffective and resulting in excessive engine movement.

034Motorsport's Density Line Mounts are the new standard in comfort and performance. Our mounts are redesigned with performance in mind, and manufactured from high-durometer rubber for increased performance and durability, without sacrificing comfort.
 
Street Density:
 
034Motorsport Street Density Snub Mounts are manufactured from 65 durometer rubber, which is approximately 30% stiffer than the failure-prone factory mounts. The steel bases have also been redesigned to cope with the added stresses of spirited driving and increased torque.
 
The result is a significant reduction in engine movement, solid shifting, and increased mount longevity. Street Density Snub Mounts will not cause any noticeable increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) inside of the cabin. These mounts are a completely re-engineered performance solution, not just inserts for use with the factory mounts.

High-Durometer Rubber vs. Polyurethane:
 
Density Line Mounts are manufactured from high-durometer rubber instead of polyurethane for a number of reasons. While vulcanized rubber mounts are more expensive to prototype due to increased complexity of manufacturing and high initial tooling costs, rubber is inherently better than polyurethane as a damping medium for mounts.
 
Rubber is able to deal with stress under both tension and compression, while polyurethane mounts rely on the damping medium to be effective only under compression. Rubber is also excellent in shear, where polyurethane is ineffective, making it ideal for suspension bushings that apply a shear force to the bushing during articulation.
 
Rubber does not pack and wear like polyurethane does, which ultimately results in a long-lasting part with consistent performance and comfort.
